To introduce myself, my name is Dream on neopets. Neopets to me, means 'internet drug'.
I still cannot quit. I am 11 years old, and I have a life ahead of me. And how am I spending it? On a computer, on a website, taking care of pets that do not exist, earning money that does not exist, ignoring my two dogs and two rats, forgetting my REAL friends, and substituting them for internet friends. I used to read in my spare time. Now, after I finish my
homework poorly, its to the computer and onto neopets. I first got onto the addicting site at the age of 7, and I bored of it, living my life up
until the age of 10 without the poisonous website. My father had to force me to get off, because I am too caught up in helping internet people, perfecting my HTML skills, or
roleplaying. THIS WEBSITE IS A DRUG. I am sickened by the website, but I cannot quit. This website is helping me limit shrink my hours of playing on this freaking website.
One goal of mine was to get into the Neopian Times, and now I have. Now, I keep trying to get in
again, but I am rejected by TNT saying they have too many good entries. It makes me angry as heck. Did you hear that? I GET ANGRY AS HECK OVER A MESSAGE SENT BY A BUNCH OF FAT LOWLIFES WHO EARN MONEY BY ADDICTING CHILDREN AND ADULTS! I used to ponder over ways for me to get famous on this website, to be one of those well known people, like the comic makers and neovision shows creators.
In fact, I once met one of these supposed 'famous neopians', named Ximera. My heart beat
fast, and I could not shut up about meeting her out loud. It was if I had met Hannah Montana. Ximera is 18 years old and got neopet famous by drawing comics and animations. She too is addicted and I envied her for being famous! ANOTHER SIDE EFFECT OF A NEOPETS ADDICT!
Another thing about Neopets is that if someone claims it sucked, you would
erupt in anger and bash the person. If they claimed a certain other pet website, such as Marapets (Which I
believe is safer to use then Neopets, due to the lack of excitement and poor graphics) Was better then Neopets, people would spew
hateful and spiteful comments about the other website. Another side affect!
Neopets should be put up there with marijuana, cocaine, and pot! It's as bad as them! It ruins your life! Now, even when I am in church, all I think about is NEOPETS! It ruins social
lives, making you only care about internet friends, ruins your religion, your EVERYTHING!
I hope the fellow addicts reading this can pry themselves from the internet drug called neopets.
