The world of neopets

EVERYTHING and i mean everything on this website is true. neopets is its own little world of fake things, fake money, and even fake friends. what is the common goal of neopians? neopoints. neopoints is a fake currency which has no effect on your life whatsoever. so what if you got 1 million neopoints...does that fix the problem you may be having with your parents (or anything for that matter) the neopets world is an escape. you log on...talk to your fake friends...make your fake money... and go about other fake business (such as feeding pixels)... and what are you left with in real life? the same problems, the same things you want to escape from, and... your REAL LIFE. yeah neopets is not an escape for some, it may actually be a fun game. but if you think about neopets during school, before tests, while in the shower, before bed, while talking to friends, or even spending time with your family...you have an addiction problem. you are gaining nothing from neopets besides self gratitude. let me tell you that i can think of many other things to gain self gratitude from than a website that has no effect on your real life. i played neopets for at least 5 years (xcutiex02x) i quit today and i now feel the need to spread the word to everyone. neopets has you locked in their world... like a mouse in a cage. you keep coming back everyday, and for what? better items, more neopoints, and more pointless hours spent while you could be doing something productive with your life. i always made the excuse "well my life is boring" and i have even heard "neopets is just my way of making friends" well you know what... if you can press a little button that says 'add to neofriend' im pretty sure that you can start a friendly conversation with someone and at least have some type of relationship or contact with real people...that actually want to be your friend. needless to say, i can go on for many hours about the pointless things people do and what you really could be doing but i will leave it as this... LIVE YOUR LIFE :)
