Neopets RANT

I'm just another kid from the US who has recently quit Neopets.
I also cannot believe I was sucked into this screen of pixelated things, the little texts that show how much I have. It's all supposed to be fun. but NOOOOO it's a whole social//ego race to the top against people YOU DONT KNOW.
Okay, so for two years. TWO YEARS I WAS COMPLETELY ADDICTED. Neopets neopets neopets neopets neopets. All that crap.
Then along came McDonald's. Then ads. Busted my computer. I had to get a new one. Spyware, it really is on neopets, no matter what those little suckup people say on the "HELP" chat. I gained weight, lost friends, my grades dropped, I could not sleep because I was thinking of NEOPETS all the time.
So they remade the games room last time I came on. There's an "EDUCATIONAL" section for there. Fo' seriously is this a joke?! The stuff that are in those games complete a first grader. Not anyone older.
I still can't believe I wasted hours and hours of energy and anger on this site. I can't write anything in order I'm sorry if you're reading this. It's amazing how many adults will waste their daytimes away, money away, life away just to stay on neopets. What. Idiots. So what if people were seen under one day ago, ego boost? NO.
I was frozen a couple of times for helping someone out with a question. Turns out quoting people doesn't work, mmhmm. The staff doesn't give a crap of your question, it's all about the money. Money. Pshhhh it's the main factor so many people are crazed into neopets. NEOPOINTS> What the heck. It's a couple of numbers and it shows how "rich" you are. Will this help you when you grow up? Hm? Will it?
Well my dears, I quit because I was depressed, fat, friendless, and my grades were HORRIBLE.
I nearly failed school.
It was so hard for me to quit, I admit, but after the first month, I felt FREE.
My attitude improved, I lost 25 pounds, I got more friends, and I'm exceeding my parents expectations for school. I feel great.
I turn on the TV and I see some green fairy flying by. It's sad how Neopets is targeting towards younger children and older people. They only care about PREMIUM members. Mhm. Not about the people who want to have fun.
So kiddies, find someone in real life who cares, not some overweight people named Adam and Donna who like chugging beer in front of the computer from 5-8 and charfing shepard's pie.
It's not worth it.
It's a life ruiner.
