My Neopets Rant

In the past month, my main account has been suspended a number of times, for seemingly no reason at all. The last one said that I had insulted or harassed someone (apparently if you post more than once contradicting someone, it's harassment). The time before that, though, is what really got to me. 

I had been on a board discussing music, and two of us got to talking about Incubus and how fantastic we think they are. I had said, in one post, that Brandon Boyd (the lead singer) is scrumptious. 

That's all I said. The next time I refreshed the page, I'd been frozen for using the word "sexy," "horny," etc. I was rather upset by it. What I said was no different than the boards going on and on about how Pete Wentz is hot. I just used a bigger word. 

I will admit that there are times that I've slipped up and participated in a discussion that wasn't allowed (religion or cutting, anyone?), but more than half the time, my account was unfairly suspended. 

After reading the articles posted by former Neopians, I've realized that Neopets isn't all it's cracked up to be, and I am leaning more toward quitting than I was just days ago. So, thanks for opening up my eyes to the hypocrisy.
