Good bye Neopets, I’ll miss you but I need to move on

I first learned about neopets when I was about 9 -10 years old from a bunch of my friends. It seemed so cool, I started playing and was hooked. My first pet was a Shoyru, I named her Faith with some numbers after. I later than adopted a aged Lupe from the pound. I then started making this neopoints from playing some games. I trained my Shoyru and Lupe. I then had enough neopoints and bought a Kacheek Trans potion and created a pet name Garzo## and morphed him to a Mutant Kacheek. I then decided to adopt a Tonu and did later. I then stopped playing for no real reason just forgot about it. I played Neopets on and off.
Then I got hooked again but it was never anything serious. I stopped playing for over a year to become good in my classes (90+ averages xD) and then my friends got into it again and so did I. I would then save enough to paint my pets, but nothing too good. I painted a Kacheek Christmas, a Shoyru Christmas, a Purple Shoyru and more cheap pets. I would give them up to other users. But then I saw that neopets was sold to Viacom, and the staff cared less and less. Prices went up, so much I quit came back, quit came back. Now it gone out of line, TEENAGERS WHOULD NOT SPEND 7 HOURS A DAY ON NEOPETS EVERYDAY FOR A STUPID ROYAL DRAIK!!! I never like Royal pets but you get my point. This is Neopets plan, make you play hours and hours for a stupid pixel. The most expensive thing I got was the lab map. I quit once more, because I couldn’t handle it anymore, I spent too many hours on it just to try to get 100k a day so I would get my Green Krawk in 19 days. Most I made was 60k, by cheating and using 3 of my spares. I never got caught though. =P. I was tempted to stay because of the cool new Haunted Woods plot that was to come, but that would just get in my way.
I enjoyed Neopets, but enough is enough. I don’t regret joining, but wouldn’t recommend it, unless your looking for stupid stress that is easily avoided. I would recommend it back then, when it was easier and more fun, but now its just another money hungry site. I still like it, but its time and it just went too far. Good bye Neopets, I’ll miss you but I need to move on.
