Hello, Readers.
I am an avid player of neopets (this was written in December 2005). I have been
an avid player for almost 3 years.
Recently in August, something happened. I was iced. Frozen for no reason.
I know I had too many accounts, but I never used half of them. Storage accounts
and such. And, can you blame me if I'm on a side account and visit a ruki's
lookup, thus getting the avatar? What about random events?
Well. I love neopets so much that when I was grounded for 2 weeks, I asked my
friend to account sit. Naturally, she obliged.
I was happy when I got back on the internet again. I try to log into my main
account, and my cloud lupe is my main pet. This is usually how my friend left
the account after she did underwater fishing. It was nothing unusual, and then
all of a sudden, I almost had a heart attack.
"This previously inactive account was being accessed by someone other than
the original owner."
What in the world, neo? I put on every lookup that my friend was using the
accounts FOR me!
I had no extra neopoints, pets, or items that my friend had not mentioned.
fiah. le_queen. ond3e. ond2e. kongboy75. maxwells_silver_hamm (the name was cut
short). werewolfy__x. booxbarn. toyf. fwooz.
Gone. All of it. Over 10 mil worth of neopoints.
Try to log into them. Fiah had a fire wocky, sketch eyrie, and desert kyrii,
plus a well named lupe, and my screenies. Le_queen had a ton of well named RP
pets. ond3e had some okay named RP pets and my art gallery. ond2e was my main
(frozen RIGHT after I painted my lupe halloween). A werelupe, mutant lupe,
christmas lupe, and cloud lupe. Over 100 avatars. Really good petpets. 1 mil
pure battledome items, 1 mil pure in the bank. kongboy75, lab ray, mutant
krawk, yellow poogle, tyrannian lupe. maxwells_silver_hamm. Lab pet storage.
werewolfy__x, RP storage and a golden meerca. Booxbarn, 3 hissis and a white
kougra. toyf, well named RP pets. Fwooz, lab pet storage.
Only pipcowe survived to blow because I forgot to tell my friend about it. ond2e
was unfrozen after 2 weeks. werewolff is the replacement of kongboy75.
It may seem as if it was my fault. But how unfair is it that I can't get on at a
friend's house? I mean, I'm on at a friend's house as I type this and am
risking it right now. So I want to get my accounts unfrozen, especially my
precious kongboy75 and ond2e.
So I e-mail the staff's "Justin". My autoreply:
"Please fill out this form for your account. We will reply shortly."
I was angry. I had already filled out that form for every one of my accounts. 2
days later, my friend who account sat had the same problem.

Her accounts were painted pet storage, just as mine were.
Now, how could this be, when I don't even know the password to her accounts, and
no one else on neopets does, either?
E-mail after e-mail was sent. And what do we little sad 12-year-olds get? IP
banned.
1 lawsuit phone call and ond2e was back after 2 weeks. My friend never got hers
back.
I still play. She still plays. And we still love it.
I'm getting a lab map. I'm helping my friends, who's accounts are being
mysteriously frozen, over it.
But, neopets, you addictive craphole of a site, screw. You.
