Neopets really does suck
Hi, I'm Hannah. I recently stumbled across your page and had a good read. Thank you. I'm 13 years old and have so much to live for, but this site, and I don't know now how I came across it, this site has become a problem. It has
weaseled its way into my life as a part of my daily routine, it has become an addiction.
I've spent about 3 months on Neopets and until today I thought it was soooo cool. Yesterday I
received an email from the Neopets team stating that someone (they didn't say who) reported me for scamming on the neoboards and if it happened again I would have my account frozen. I have, nor ever will, do such a thing. I am not at all pleased with how they handle the
situation and as I type I am sending emails to TNT. I want them to know that I haven't done such a stupid thing. After reading the articles here, I have no hopes for a reply. Since then I have received 3 more neomails from TNT, and I have been outraged with them. They have given me 2 warnings about
scamming (they think getting 240k in 3 months is scamming and not being really good at the game) and
harassing a member (the member is my brother and I was neomailing him with tips).
I love to be online and talk to my friends from school and outside of school, and I love to interact with other people. Neopets has slowly been draining my time to talk to them and I have decided it must end. I quit. I will still play the games when I am not busy with my friends or family, because I do consider them sort of fun. But I'm not gonna let it rule me. I don't care about the np.
Neopets is suppose to be fun, but the staff are making it so hard to play nowadays. It fees on the brains of children, it keeps them from socializing with REAL people and things.
That's wrong. Sometimes I wonder while I'm playing, 'How do these people sleep at night?'
