Saving Time Pricing the Items in Your shop

For items I'm not familiar with, I always use the shop wizard to figure out the prices.  I don't want to over price, or under price.  For things I know well, I don't need to use the shop wizard, so what I do to save a lot of time is just make an educated guess.  Like rather than searching the wizard, I'll just price what I think is fair.

Say you win a lot of codestones or map pieces in auction (like me) and don't wanna search every single time.  Just put it up for a slightly high price, then lower it by 50 or 100 every few hours.  That's what I do, rather than looking every single time.  If it sells out fast, I put it even higher.  If it always takes forever, I put it lower.

You might decide to sell a cheap item at 4750 and lower it by 30 points every few hours, or if it sells fast, next time price it at 4800.  Or something at 11,000, and raise or lower it 100 or 200 if it sells too fast or too slow.

It's good to recalibrate your prices every now and then, just to make sure you aren't going too high or too low.  I do this like once every few days, unless my items are selling really slowly, then I'll check the shop wizard to figure out why.  For the most part, if it's an item I'm familiar with, I don't do that.  I just put it up and raise or lower the price accordingly.  You will save a LOT of time if you do this . . . just need a good memory.

This will actually lose you money because you aren't getting every last neopoint by pricing your items accordingly.  However, it will save you many, many minutes of pricing items "just right", and you can use that time to do something else.  Just remember to recalibrate every now and then, because prices do fluctuate wildly in neoland.
